Kamal al –Din Ismail Esfahani, was a famous Iranian poet and the last great Iranian elegist in the 13 th century. He is known as the "creator of meanings", because he was expert at innovating new meanings and fresh subjects in his poetry. Kamal al –Din Ismail lived before "Hafez" and was as popular as "Hafez". He was killed by Mogul in 1237.
